Happy Father’s Day to all fathers everywhere!

The father is the male parent of the household. The father is charged with the responsibility of providing for the family, and giving instructions to the children as they grow. The father shares the dos and don’ts of life. The father has an obligation to teach and train his children in biblical instructions. God is the head of man and the father is the head of the family. God desires that the family live together as a harmonious unit, where love for God and the neighbors are instilled in the hearts of each family member.

My heart is heavy this Father’s Day because of my ministry. I share the gospel of Jesus Christ twice a week to men behind bars. In prison, men are not able to enjoy this day with their children, unless the children are able to visit their father in prison. When the children visit in prison, they must sit on the opposite side of the table, and they cannot wear the same color clothing as their fathers in prison, which is green.

The father who took the wrong turn in life for whatever reason, it does not matter, his heart is broken and his mind is troubled. This father sits and thinks about all the bad choices he made, and may lose hope. God’s desire is that the churches pray for these fathers and encourage them in the Lord, Jesus Christ! We must believe with them, while they are in prison, his is family is in God’s hand and he will be able to rejoin his family again. He is still the father of these children, and as he gives his life to Jesus, he and his seed (his children) shall be blessed.

In closing, I want to say this to fathers everywhere, to include those in prison: some of you have abandoned your children; some may have children by different women for whom you loved, or someone you cared nothing for.  However, you must remember you are the father of these children.  If you must love from a distance, keep loving and praying for your children! If at some point, you return home, PRAISE the Lord! Please remember your heavenly Father loves you and forgives you, and you need to forgive yourself and trust in God. God will not leave you or your children; I pray God’s peace and protection to you and your children.

Don’t forget to repent.

Love you.

Praise the Lord!

Justification is the process by which sinful human beings are made acceptable to a Holy God. 2 Corinthians 5:19 tell us, “God was in Jesus Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them.” This reconciliation covers all sin. When God justifies, He charges the sin on man to Christ and credits the righteousness of Jesus to believers (2 Corinthians 5:21). Through one Man’s righteous acts, the free-gift came to all men; and resulted in His righteousness, which is experienced and enjoyed (Rom 3:25-30). Faith is considered righteousness (Rom 4:3,9); not as the work of human beings (Rom
4:5), but as the gift and work of God (John 6:28-29; Ephesians 2:8; Philippians 1:29).

Romans 8:1, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them, which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” There is not a sin, (past, present, or future), a believer can commit that will be held against them, if they repent. Jesus Christ paid the penalty and righteousness was imputed to the believer, And, no sin will ever reverse this divine legal decision, Romans 8:33. Every Christian, in Jesus Christ, is united with Him, (Romans 6:1-11). Romans 8:29 states, “God foreknew…” God knew who would come to Christ. His predetermine choice to set His love on us and established an intimate relationship with us. Being predestined, you were marked out; appoint; or determined beforehand. You are more than conqueror! This means to over conquer; to conquer completely, and without any real threat to your personal life or health. God elected you!  Faith alone in Christ, God justifies sinners. Jesus Christ died for the ungodly. This is what I call “True Supreme Love.”

Don’t forget to repent.

Love you.
